Launching Leaders: The Planning Process
Launching Leaders began in late 2016 with a planning study. Staff, along with our campaign consultants, met with donors to understand their values and priorities, and ultimately develop a campaign fundraising plan that would best connect donors with SEA’s priorities. With the guidance of our Campaign Committee members, who ensured that our case for support was both in alignment with our strategic plan and reflective of donor priorities, the campaign began in the spring of 2017, with a focus on raising funds for our ships, campus, and endowment. Launching Leaders is scheduled to conclude in autumn of 2022.
Celebrating the Campaign
During the first four years of the campaign, leadership donors contributed more than $18 million toward the total goal of $20 million. We’re 90% to goal, and, have to thank our lead donors for our tremendous result thus far.
Excitement! We are on track to reach the entire campaign goal of $20 million by autumn 2022. That’s something to celebrate!
So, celebrate, we will. We look forward to the opportunity to properly thank all our Launching Leaders donors for their vital role in this important endeavor. Your generosity is instrumental in helping SEA reach this important fundraising milestone. We look forward to celebrating the successful completion of the campaign and to an even more remarkable future for SEA.
Homeward Bound
